Please contact us at within 7 days of receiving your items(s), and we will arrange a time for you to drop off your items at the shop for an exchange or credit note. Items must be returned to Stepping Out within 14 days of receiving the item.
We do not take any exchanges at this time, except size or colour exchanges of the the same item, if available.
All gift cards & credit notes are valid for in-store purchases ONLY.
We will provide you with a store credit once your return is received and inspected. Items must be unwashed, unworn in original condition with the hangtag still attached and a valid receipt. We do not cover shippings costs of returns.

how to request a return
Please refer to our Exchange Policy paragraph above to ensure that your item(s) meets the criteria stated.
E-mail with the subject line RETURN and explain why you want to return the item. We will notify you when your return has been approved, and you will receive a corresponding email with an authorization code to present as proof of purchase.
We will then arrange a time for you to securely drop off your item at Stepping Out for exchange or issue a store credit to use towards future in-store purchases.
PLEASE NOTE: We must receive your email request for a return within 7 days of delivery.
We offer free local (Essex) porch delivery and pick up at Stepping Out.
Free Canada wide shipping for orders over $150 before tax and $15 standard shipping fee for purchases under $150.
We will ship to almost anywhere in Canada. Upon order, tracking number is sent to customer.
Unfortunately, international shipping is unavailable at this time.
